Article Summary

Now you're mum to two children, 'me-time' is still an essential. Ditch the guilt and make the most of your rare opportunities for exercising, socialising, and unwinding. You'll find it gives you a welcome boost.
MUM CARE:

And don’t forget your own health.

Having two children really is twice the work, and mums often forget to take time just for themselves. Occasionally set aside a couple of hours, say in the evening after feeding the baby, when your partner or a relative can hold fort while you go off to meet friends. You’ll find that a break from the day (and night!) routine is such a good tonic.

Also put aside a regular half hour for doing some gentle exercise to get your figure back in shape. This may be even more important after a second child.
