Losing touch with your inner goddess? Accentuate the positive and don't fret about your post-pregnancy shape. It doesn't take long to lift your spirits by giving yourself a special treat, and you'll have plenty to smile about.
MUM CARE

Actually, a visit to the dentist is a good idea for you, too, since pregnancy can have an adverse effect on a mother’s teeth. You want to keep your beautiful smile now that you have two children to smile at. It’s an interesting fact but the more you smile, the better you will feel about yourself, so keep smiling as often as you can.

It’s often about four months after the birth that mums start to find time to look at themselves in the mirror and worry that they are letting themselves go because of all the tasks involved in caring for two children. It’s definitely the right time, therefore, to take stock.

Take a long look at your wardrobe and see whether you don’t need to treat yourself to a new outfit. Try out a new colour or a new style to give yourself the feeling that you’re embarked on a fresh start as a happy mum of two.

If you haven’t yet got your pre-pregnancy figure back, don’t despair. Remember the importance of exercise. In the meantime, what about buying a new pair of elegant shoes or a lovely silk scarf? Pamper yourself. Wearing something new can really lift your spirits and make you feel good about your self-image again.

Otherwise second time mums can sometimes feel rather submerged when juggling all their new childcare duties. So, it’s extremely important to focus completely on yourself from time to time.
